The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce School-Business Partnership Committee began in 1993 as a collaborative effort between the Acton Chamber of Commerce, the Acton Public Schools and the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District.
Mission Statement
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce (MWCoC) School-Business Partnership provides opportunities for students, teachers, schools and businesses to enhance and extend student learning through sharing expertise, programs and resources in a mutually beneficial manner for the good of the community.
Goals
- To provide opportunities for schools and businesses to interact productively
- To work with schools and businesses to plan and implement programs and events that enable students to apply abstract subject matter skills in real world work situations
- To enable students and school staff to provide appropriate expertise and resources to businesses
